The Braid Chair's paper cord frame is beautiful from any angle.

In contrast to the straight line design of the Blade Sofa, the curved frame design of the chair gives it a soft impression and makes it less oppressive when viewed from the side or behind.

The Blade Chair was designed by Danish design studio Norm Architects.
Originally, this chair was designed for "TRUNK (HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK",
It will be further refined at the Ariake Design Workshop in 2023.
It was featured in the "Blade" collection.

By making it a standing cushion,

ARIAKE is a furniture brand that continues to spread from Saga to the world.

ARIAKE, produced by Regnatec and Hirata Chair Factory in Morotomi Town, Saga Prefecture, is created through regular week-long workshops where designer and director Gabriel Tan and other designers from around the world spend their time living and eating together.

The workshops, where designers and craftsmen exchange opinions to decide on the design, structure, and manufacturing method, are based on trust and communication on an equal footing.

The products produced through this special process are beautiful furniture pieces created by "Team ARIAKE" that are packed with Japanese technology and aesthetic sense.
