PHAPHIC "Dots, Lines, and Cotton"
- 2025.12.13 - 12.28
-----------------------

It was launched by graphic designer Aiko Ishigami.
We will be exhibiting and announcing new PHAPHIC products.
Sofa brand NOUS PROJECTS (@nousprojects_official)
Fabric brand PHAPHIC (@phaphic_jp)
This is a new product created through a collaboration between two brands that Ousia normally carries.
PHAPHIC is a fabric brand that combines fabric and graphics to convey the unique character of the region in which it is produced.
The fabric strongly reflects the local climate and historical and geographical background.
Producers from around the country have developed their own unique techniques and industries.
When you look at the production areas, you can see the depth of Japan as a country,
The character of the region begins to emerge little by little.
Where did food and people originate?
To find meaning in its origins,
We also want to convey the charm that lives in Japanese fabric production areas.
PHAPHIC was born from this idea.
The possibilities that arise from connections with production areas
It communicates this to us daily through designs that become part of the space.
NOUS PROJECTS is a domestic sofa brand based in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, born from a sofa manufacturer with over 60 years of history.
We have been making sofas for many years, which is why we have pursued comfort, ease of sitting, and durability.
Making the most of the development data and craftsmanship that we have cultivated,
It is designed through a modern filter.
This is NOUS PROJECTS.
In ancient philosophy, the word NOUS has the meaning of "discovering the essence, understanding the reason and creating things."
We select materials in pursuit of their essence, give them functionality,
Following intuitive beauty creates harmony,
The aim is to create the owner's individuality and culture by improving the overall balance of the interior.
The existence of creators is very important to Ousia,
Who makes it, why, and how?
Visit as many places as possible to get a feel for them,
We want to convey the passion to the listener as much as possible.
The exhibition begins with products that are all connected by "lines" in a way that resonates with this idea.
